Lake Conroe

Lake Conroe is a 22,000-acre lake with over 157 miles of shoreline, located in Montgomery County west of the City of Conroe and I-45 and a little over an hour north of Houston. It is known as a destination for vacationing, golfing, rest and relaxation, fishing, boating, and other water sports. The convenience it offers from Houston also makes it a popular place to live or own a second home. A variety of homes can be found on and around the lake ranging from condominiums, townhomes, and single-family homes, and range in price from $200's to the $4 millions depending on the location. Lake Conroe is home to Bentwater, Walden, and April Sound golf communities offering country club amenities.

 

Margaritaville on the lake also provides lodging, dining, water sports and activities, and jet ski rentals. Homes in the Lake Conroe area are zoned to Conroe ISD, Willis ISD, and Montgomery ISD schools.
